We're excited to feature Darling Hill, the musical project of New England singer-songwriter Kate Schimke.
With over 7 years of local performances and collaborations with various venues and artists, including NH musician Charlie Chronopulous, Darling Hill's debut EP "Where the Heart Heals," produced by Zach Kasik of Wild Feather Recording studio, showcases a unique musical style with contributions from top Nashville musicians.
The EP's tracks are powerful and poignant, featuring collaborations with sought-after talents such as percussionist Shake E Folwkes, violinist Laurie Canaan, bassist Doug Corbin, and vocalist Kalen Chase. Darling Hill's music is reminiscent of 80's synth and 90's folk grunge, delivering raw, hypnotizing compositions filled with beautiful poetry that offer a fresh perspective on the world. Schimke's standout vocals and bewitching melodies capture the essence of both fantasy and reality.
