Live at The Lyric is proud to present renowned musicians Jim Lauderdale and Scott Miller live on stage on October 1, 2025!Jim Lauderdale is known for his prolific contributions to country, bluegrass, and Americana music. With a career spanning over three decades, Lauderdale has released more than 30 albums, showcasing his versatile songwriting and soulful vocals. He is highly respected within the music community, both for his solo work and for writing hits for artists such as George Strait, Patty Loveless, and the Dixie Chicks.
Scott Miller is an American singer-songwriter and roots-rock musician known for his vivid storytelling and blend of Americana, Southern rock, and alternative country. Born in 1968 in Swoope, Virginia, Miller first gained prominence in the 1990s as the frontman of the Knoxville-based band The V-Roys, the first act signed to Steve Earle’s E-Squared Records. After the band disbanded in 1999, he formed Scott Miller and the Commonwealth, further establishing his solo career.
