Andy McCormick is a composer and multi-instrumentalist who writes music for movies, theater, with lyricists, and for friends. He is a proud musical saw player, ardent supporter of new music, and willing to sing dissonant intervals.
Percussionist Ryan Billig visited Indonesia to study gamelan, traditional Indonesian percussive music. During his time there, Ryan enjoyed the local food, especially the banana leaf-wrapped tempeh. He opened Tempeh Tantrum in 2014.
Live music will be performed to a silent film—to be announced!
Live at the Carnegie is a Saturday Listening Series, curated by Liz Draper. 6:30pm Doors, 7:00pm Artist Talk, 7:30pm Performance. The event is free to attend and all are welcome—donations to the artists and the Carnegie are encouraged.
