Johnny Rhoades is a Detroit native, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter with a career spanning more than a decade across the U.S. and international stages. He began touring at just 19 with Motor City Josh and has since performed throughout Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Influenced by blues greats like B.B. King, Albert King, Albert Collins, and Ray Charles, he delivers a rich, “old soul” blues sound rooted in tradition. He has also shared the stage with artists such as Thornetta Davis, RJ Spangler, Brett Lucas, John Németh, and Paul Carey.
