The 30th annual Live at Juilliard concert series offers free, family-friendly concerts each Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m., July 27 to August 31, 2025, in historic Juilliard Park. Led by renowned Nigerian percussionist and songwriter, Onye Onyemaechi, these diverse and professional musicians play music that is a celebration of body and soul. With a captivating blend of influences ranging from Afrobeat, Funk, Jazz, and other global grooves, The Messengers perform nationally and internationally for a wide range of audiences and events.
A virtuoso of African rhythm music, Onye Onyemaechi brings a powerful experience to audiences across the U.S. and Europe. A native of Nigeria, Onye creates original compositions that blend tribal rhythms with contemporary music influences.
