What would happen when the city’s best poets put together a show of their pieces? Live at Grand Central brings some of the best parts of the open mic scene and builds a production like you’ve never seen before. Poets get 10 minutes to put on their own production. The show is then hosted and weaved together by actors performing scenes, monologues and improv games.
With all new poetry, fun improv games, scenes and featured performances from some of Tampa's greatest talent such as Unspoken, Jamie Dawson, Reg BLK, Chaneylaine and more! This is where poetry meets theatre in a high-energy performance
Join us at 6:30 when doors open and signups for Open Mic begin. Open mic will begin at 7:00p and last for an hour. Our featured artists will begin their performances at 8:00p with the show lasting an hour and 30 minutes.
