Close out July with the ultimate Friday night patio party! On Friday, July 31st, we are thrilled to welcome Grand Rapids' own powerhouse 6-piece outfit, Da’Veonce & DaFunk Gang, to the CBJ stage!
For the past 5 years, this group has been lighting up stages across Michigan, delivering high-energy rhythm, smooth vocals, and an irresistible mix of classic grooves, deep-pocket rhythms, and modern jams.
Led by world-touring drummer and frontman Da’Veonce Washington—who has shared stages with global and national icons like T.I., Ne-Yo, Eric Gales, Little Feat, and Foreigner—this band is an absolute masterclass in live entertainment. Heavily influenced by Sly and the Family Stone, P-Funk, Stevie Wonder, Outkast, and Aretha Franklin, every single performance is a celebration full of heart and soul.
