June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada. It is a time to recognize the rich history, heritage, and resilience of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people.
NVRC is committed to truth, reconciliation, and building strong and collaborative relationships with the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation). It is with gratitude we acknowledge that our programs and events take place on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples.
Throughout the month of June, NVRC is hosting several free events and workshops. Join us in celebrating the talents, stories and achievements of Indigenous peoples.
