Just a friendly reminder that this Sunday, August 10, the Littleton Western Welcome Week Elks Car Show will be taking place. It’s going to be a fantastic event, and if last year is any indication with 250 cars in attendance, you’ll want to get there early to snag a prime spot. We’ll be closing down Alamo Street from Santa Fe to Prince Street at 5 AM, so I recommend arriving as early as possible since the best spots go quickly.  The large trees along Alamo Street provide plenty of shaded parking, making it a comfortable spot to spend the day.It would be wonderful to park all the Prowler‘s together, so if you’re planning to attend, please let me know in advance, and I’ll do my best to reserve a space for you. All cars are welcome, and there’s no cost for parking. In addition to the Car Show, will have hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hotdog, and brats, available as well as a full service bar inside the Elks Lodge. The proceeds from T-shirt, food, and beverage sales will go to “Nourish Meals on Wheels”, so it’s for a great cause.
To enter the Car Show, head to Santa Fe and turn east onto Church Street, then take your first left onto Rapp Street. For those who will be visiting the car show without a car to display, parking is available at Arapahoe Community College and will have golf carts shuttling between ACC and the Elks Lodge.
I also had some fantastic T-shirts designed, featuring a Prowler! They are $25 each, and they are sure to be a hit. We will likely sell out quickly on the day of the car show, so if you want to secure one, please let me know beforehand, and I’ll hold one for you.
