Victoria is an experienced facilitator and professional singer who passionately believes in singing as a birthright of absolutely everyone, regardless of ability or disability.The workshop will begin with some focus on breath followed by some fun physical and then vocal warm-ups leading into all the children singing songs together: some familiar, some new.
With over 15 years’ experience in music outreach, Victoria has designed this workshop for young children to explore their own individual voice in a safe and positive way, with an emphasis on speaking to ourselves and our own voices with compassion and creativity..
It will be fun, freeing and aims to empower each child to use their voice in new ways, building confidence and curiosity along the way.
Duration: 2 x 40 minute sessions with a 10 minute Comfort break.
Yes! You Can Sing is a festival of singing for everyone produced by Music Kin CIC. We believe singing is your birth-right, and if you can speak you can sing. Our festival workshops will gently lead you with compassion to open up and celebrate your natural voice, which is as unique to you as your fingerprints. We ultimately invite you to join your voice with others and awaken a new passion and joy for the powerfully, life-enhancing shared-experience of group singing.
All workshops are very reasonably priced only £5 each and there is a discounted festival pass available if you want to attend 3 events plus the 'Yes! We Can Sing Together' finale event. Also those who book tickets for events before the 23rd February will get an automatic ticket to the 'Yes! We Can Sing Together' Finale.
