About this Event

Many Bees, One Hive

What can we learn from a honeybee?

Join us for Many Bees, One Hive, a hands-on youth workshop that explores the fascinating world of honeybees and the important role they play in our environment. Through storytelling, interactive activities, and a creative art project, young naturalists will discover how bees help pollinate plants, support food production, and work together to keep their colony thriving.

Participants will learn about honeybee life, the queen's role, and how new colonies form. Along the way, we'll explore a bigger question: what can a bee colony teach us about community? Just as every bee has a job that helps the hive succeed, each of us has unique skills that can make a positive difference in the world around us. This workshop is part of the Little Stewards Workshop series, which is designed to inspire the next generation of Texas naturalists through art, curiosity, and connection with the natural world. Geared towards kids aged 7-12, but all kiddos are welcome!

Your host will be the lovely Stephanie Saldivar, local photographer & champion of keeping wild spaces wild. She has put together this wonderful program and we're thrilled to kick off this new series with her!
