Schedule:

9.30am-10am

  • DSA Info-Session (For Parents) - Direct School Admission (DSA) is a program that allows Primary 6 students to apply to schools before taking the PSLE. There are currently more than 50 schools that cover a variety of areas such as coding, robotics and STEAM (science, engineering, technology, the arts and mathematics).
  • LEGO WeDo (Ages 4 to 7) - The WeDo program combines traditional LEGO bricks with sensors, servo motors and microprocessors to create machines. Using a hands-on approach, children will learn the mechanics of robotic builds to learn engineering and science concepts.
  • Micro:bit Coding, Engineering and Science (Ages 8 to 12) - Learn to code Internet of Things (IoT) solutions with the BBC micro:bit. Students will learn to program this microcomputer on Microsoft’s block programming language and use it for Science experiments.

10.30am-11am

  • 3D Printing with Tinkercad (Ages 7 to 9) - Create your own models through our new 3D Printing and Tinkercad course. Suitable for beginners, Tinkercad allows students to design their own 3D models and watch them come to life by 3D printing!
  • Roblox Coding (Ages 9 to 19) - Go beyond playing your favorite Roblox games and become the designer of your own Roblox game, made possible by learning the programming language Lua on the Roblox Studio editor. Students will learn to publish their own games too.

11.30am-12pm

  • Minecraft: Education Edition (Ages 8 to 12) - Learn to code through the world of Minecraft. Students will learn the fundamentals of game development whilst learning science. Topics include energy, physics, chemistry and engineering principles for both primary and high school levels.
  • Python (Ages 11 to 19) - Learn to code in Python, the world’s most famous coding language. Projects include art design, games, quizzes, chatbots and much more. Python is easy to learn and is an essential industry langauge for programmers.
