About this Event
Check out my profile all my other pottery and fiber art classes, in-person and online available.
Little Snowball Ornaments is a part of the "Little Gifts" series of workshops - designed for people to come after work for a quick bite of creativity and make little gifts for the holiday gift-giving season.
In this mini pom pom class, I’ll show you my technique for making highly textured wool snowballs, using a wide selection of yarns and recycled fabrics. So even though all our pom-poms are white, everyone's will have their own unique character.
We'll hang them on waxed cord to make beautiful ornaments or gift toppers! You'll make as many as you can in the 2 hour class!
This project is great for beginners and fiber enthusiasts alike. Making bespoke pom-poms gives you a little hit of dopamine when you cut them open, like opening a present! Everyone loves seeing the surprise inside!
I designed "Little Gifts" as a workshop series to create affordable experiences for my communitty to rest, relax and be creative during this sometimes stressful season.
Join the 'slow gift revolution' where we say NO to over-consumption and YES to nourishing experiences and gifts with meaning. These classes are accessible and easy for most people to do with a low-stakes creativity, and making lovely things you actually want to give!
• Drop in after work - just two hours! MANY dates to choose from
• Affordable - just $35!
• Perfect for a friends night out, family or date night!
• Get in touch if you'd like to make it a Private Party and need a table, dishes, linens for a food table.
• Take care of YOU during this season - working with your hands is proven to help your brain stress levels.
