Get ready for a theatrical experience like no other! "Little Shop of Horrors" is a thrilling blend of romance, murder, doo-wop, and aliens that promises to entertain and engage. Following the hilarious journey of a humble floral shopkeeper who stumbles upon a peculiar plant with a hidden appetite for human blood. As its ambitions grow, so do the complications for our hero's love life and the fate of the planet!Now, you have the chance to appear in this phenomenal show as it hits the stage of Preston Playhouse from 9th-12th July 2025. Written by the creative geniuses behind Disney classics like "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast," and "Aladdin," this beloved Broadway and West End masterpiece fuses the infectious sounds of rock and Motown.
Come along to the welcome event and meet the creative team; Director Steve Chesters, Musical Director - Jo Duckworth with associate choreographer - Anne Arkwright.
Find out all the details and the roles available - a budding Seymour, a posing Dentist, a powerful Audrey or the voice of a big green plant - could one of these be you? We welcome potential performers from all diversities and backgrounds. Rehearsals are Mondays and Thursdays with occasional Sundays
There are workshops on 20th and 23rd January and auditions on
27th and 30th January with callbacks for 3rd February.
