The Koobs Nature Area is excited to be reopening after having been close for over a year due to Covid. October's theme will be Little Mammals. Come out and explore the Koobs Nature Area and enjoy free science and art activities for kids. The Koobs Nature Area will be open on Saturday, October 16, from 10am-2pm, and is free to visit.This wonderful natural treasure in the heart of Carmichael is run and maintained by the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael.
We will be following county guidelines to keep our volunteers and visitors safe. We ask that all visitors to the Koobs Nature Area wear masks and respect social distancing. We will be limiting the number of kids at each activity table to two to three at a time.
