This three-session grief program is for children ages 4 to 7 years old. During the program children have the chance to interact with others their own age who have experienced the death of someone. Through play, stories, games, songs, talking about feelings, art and conversations with our bunny puppet, named “Hamilton,” children find a comfortable place to express their thoughts and feelings.
This program is free and open to any child in the community. Pre-registration is required to ensure we have enough supplies and staff for the children attending.

All sessions are held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, from 4:00-5:30pm.
