Little Feat is bringing The Last Farewell Tour to the Ocean City Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, May 26 at 7PM.After more than five decades on the road, the legendary band is beginning a long, thoughtful wind-down from touring. This is not a final goodbye, but a celebration of the music, the journey, and the joy of playing live that has defined Little Feat since 1969.
Formed when Frank Zappa encouraged Lowell George to start his own band, Little Feat quickly carved out a sound all their own—an irresistible blend of rock, New Orleans funk, jazz, and blues. Along the way came iconic songs like “Dixie Chicken,” “Willin’,” “Oh, Atlanta,” and “Fat Man in the Bathtub,” plus one of rock’s most celebrated live albums, Waiting for Columbus.
Today’s lineup carries that legacy forward with the same deep groove and musical fire, recently releasing the acclaimed album Strike Up the Band. Fans can expect a night filled with classic songs, masterful musicianship, and the unmistakable Little Feat spirit.
