Little Birds in the Big City

Many people would think of the pigeons huddled together in a city park, the gulls in the parking lots – but what about the 300+ bird species that call Toronto home?

Let’s talk about all the little birds that live right in our neighbourhoods, and contribute to Toronto’s Tommy Thompson Park, a Globally Significant Important Bird Area.

Presented by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and delivered by Shane Abernethy, Bander-in-Charge at the Tommy Thompson Park Bird Research Station. Shane also hosts the popular Feather Fridays series on Instagram.
