It's Little Beat More Party number 23 and we're going back to the Fanialive for a massive celebration!
All the way from California (with roots in Puebla, Mexico) we're so thrilled to announce for the first time in Vienna, the one and only Turbo Sonidero.
Turbo Sonidero is the definitive bridge between the música de barrio (hood music) of Puebla’s sonidero culture and the global vanguard of electronic music. Hailing from East Side San Jose, Zepeda has spent nearly two decades evolving from a dedicated vinyl crate-digger into a pioneering producer.
His signature sound—a gritty, hypnotic fusion of Cumbia Sonidera, Rap aesthetics, and experimental electronics—has repositioned cumbia as a dominant force in the international underground.
Since 2008, Turbo Sonidero has been more than just a performer; he is a community architect. As the founder of the Kumbia Obscura/Kumbia Net collective and the Discos Piramide label, he has built a global infrastructure for the genre, championing emerging talent across Mexico and beyond
through physical releases on vinyl and cassette.
