✏️ Mark Making Week – Little Academy ✏️A creative and exploratory week where children and parents are encouraged to make marks, express ideas, and explore a variety of materials together in a relaxed and supportive environment.
📝 Each session begins with a simple registration activity, helping children learn to recognise their name in a fun and confidence-building way
🎨 6 mark-making areas to explore, supporting EYFS developmental links through play, including early writing skills, creativity, and hand-eye coordination
🎁 A leader-led “Mystery Box” — a surprise activity such as a story, game, movement, or music
🚶♀️ The session finishes with lining up to receive a small reward, encouraging turn-taking, listening, and routine
📍 The Art Room, Ketley Community Centre
