Móricz Zsigmondról aligha mondható el, hogy a magyar irodalom ismeretlen alakja volna. Vajon mennyire tükrözi a róla kialakult kép életművének sokszínűségét? Szilágyi Zsófia Móricz monográfusaként sokat tett az utóbbi évtizedekben annak érdekében, hogy a szerző minél változatosabb alakját hozzáférhetővé tegye. Az est során a nézők betekintést nyerhetnek Móricz és a színház kapcsolatának világába, amely még az irodalomtörténeti szakmán belül is ismeretlen terület. A beszélgetés résztvevői tovább alakítják a képet: milyen izgalmakat rejtenek a naplók, milyen szerepet töltött be kortársai között Móricz, hogyan kapcsolódik a szerzőhöz egy napjainkban népszerű író - ez mind kiderül az est folyamán.//
It could hardly be said that Zsigmond Móricz is an unknown figure in Hungarian literature. But to what extent does his image reflect the sheer diversity of his life's work? In recent decades, Zsófia Szilágyi's in-depth analysis of Móricz has done much to make the multifaceted nature of the author more accessible. This evening, spectators will enjoy special insight into the relationship between Móricz and the theatre - a field that is unfamiliar even to many literary historians. The participants in the discussion will further details to the picture: the excitement of Móricz's diaries, the position he enjoyed among his contemporaries, and the connection between the famous author and a popular modern writer.
