This month we’re reading James by Percival Everett, winner of the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. It’s a sharp, subversive retelling of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn from Jim’s point of view—blending humor, rage, and insight in all the right ways.

We’re meeting in person at Long Meadow in Prospect Park. Bring your book, something to sit on, and come ready to talk (or just listen). Whether you’re halfway through or done, you’re good.
