Event Description Join Lit City Book Club for our June discussion of Freshwater by Akwaeke Emezi.
Freshwater follows Ada, a Nigerian woman carrying multiple spirits within her — a story rooted in Igbo cosmology that moves through identity, mental health, and what it means to live between worlds.
We'll gather to discuss the book, share reflections, and listen to one another. You don't need to finish the book to attend. Come as you are.
Book Purchase Info Copies of Freshwater are available at Liz's Book Bar. Mention Lit City Book Club in store and receive 10% off your purchase. You can also order the book online directly from Liz's Book Bar.
