Last year, we unleashed Howler Games on Salt Lake City with Pierce Brown and a secret special guest. It was legendary. So naturally, we're doing it again.

Welcome to round two of our arcade extravaganza! This year, Lit Escalates is bringing Matt Dinniman and Joe Abercrombie to Quarters Arcade Bar for a one-night-only evening of games, drinks, and hanging out with two of fantasy and sci-fi’s biggest troublemakers.

This isn't your average author event. It's three hours of retro arcade games, themed cocktails, and rubbing elbows with Matt, Joe, and fellow fans. Challenge someone to Street Fighter, make some new friends, and generally behave like the civilized literary enthusiasts we all pretend to be. No panels, no podiums…just good company, questionable gaming skills, and abundant CONVIVIALITY AND BONHOMIE.
