We’ve all glimpsed it. Maybe even been lucky enough to have experienced waves of it throughout our lives:
A deep, fulfilling experience of love, understanding and connection. Easefully oozing passion, presence, purpose and playfulness. Naturally unfolding in ways that support each of us to be our best selves, enhancing our power, creativity and vitality. We all sense that this is the potential in our intimate relationships. Intimately connected with Self, with Other, with Spirit.
And yet for most of us, our day to day experience of relationship is far from this.
Why? And how to do more than glimpse our potential, how to experience this as not state but stage? In the Listening is Love 3 hour workshop touch upon these most serious questions in a light hearted way.
We will explore some of the patterns in life and relationship that are common blocks to living this realization. And even more importantly, we will help to discover what’s specifically preventing you from experiencing this fully for yourself.
Expect to receive some tools, tips, tricks and techniques for upgrading your ability to stay open-hearted in the midst of conflict, fear, confusion and pain.
To refine your awareness of the ways that you defend yourself from real and imagined threats.
To receive clarity on the subtle, subconscious agendas you engage in when out of touch with your own inherent self-manifesting nourishment. The ways you try to get your cup filled externally.
To deepen your capacity to meet with compassion and discrimination the parts of your partner’s that are subtly, or not so subtly, and trying to get you to fill their cup.
All of this will be achieved through deep listening, learning to be truly curious about our own truth and that our our partner. As we listen to ourselves we first meet the layers of protection: the voices that seek to protect us. As we continue listening, we may meet the wounded places within that are crying out for holding, for love, for seeing. And as we keep listening the deep wisdom within emerges.
This same depth of listening can help us to experience clarity about our partners, and receive their wisdom, even when they’re not able to. Reminding us of their divinity, their sublime beauty, and allowing us to let go of our stories of who they are, or who we need them to be.
Whether you are currently in single, or involved in an intimate relationship of any structure, join us to learn the tools and techniques on offer, which can work through the layers of wounding, all the way down to the *core* where we discover Essence – the True Healer. What’s more, by understanding our own needs for healing, we learn how to support our partner in their healing journey as well.
Expect this workshop to be uncomfortable at times, challenging and deepening your understanding of consciousness, your Self and your relationships. This will be accomplished through Self-exploratory exercises and meditations, working with our own and our partner's deep conditioning held in the subconscious mind & body. There will be a mix of lecture and exercise, seriousness and levity, expansion and contraction, laughter and perhaps tears, all leading to transformation.
