About this Event
On 27–28 September 2025, we’ll meet in Lisbon for the first edition of Lisbon Street Photo Fest: a new celebration of street photography, bringing together photographers, enthusiasts, and curious minds from around the world.
Open Call 2025
We’ve invited submissions in Singles and Series from around the world. Finalists were selected by a jury of acclaimed photographers, including Nikita Teryoshin, Gustavo Minas, Julia Coddington, and more.
Exhibition
Finalists's work will take over the Faculdade de Belas-Artes University campus during the festival, creating a space for discovery and dialogue. Afterward, the exhibition moves to the city, where it will remain for a month.
Activities
Join for a weekend of workshops, photowalks, portfolio reviews, and talks designed to inspire and challenge. Focused on creative exploration, the program offers something for every photographer. Full details here.

Info: In this two-day workshop, award-winning photographer Nikita Teryoshin invites participants to rethink the rules of documentary and street photography. Known for his offbeat, confrontational, and darkly humorous images, Nikita’s approach—what he sometimes calls “radical reportage”—combines spontaneity, social observation, and visual wit to reveal strange truths in everyday scenes.
Participants will be challenged to step out of their comfort zones, explore Lisbon with open eyes, and—where possible—infiltrate events or public gatherings to capture surprising, layered, or absurd moments. The Infraordinary: A Conceptual Approach to Street Phot. with Sandra Hernandez

Info: This one-day intensive workshop with Sandra Hernández invites photographers to move beyond shooting and engage with the deeper layers of meaning in their work. Rooted in a philosophical approach to street—and everyday—photography, the session draws inspiration from The Infraordinary by French writer Georges Perec, who challenged us to pay attention to the overlooked and to uncover the subtle narratives of the ordinary. Through a combination of group discussion, portfolio reviews, and collective reflection, Sandra will guide participants in exploring questions such as: What lies beneath the surface of an image? How can editing shape meaning? How can we develop a more intentional way of seeing? This is not a technical workshop.
