Premiere! New performance by choreographer Lisa Janbell at MDT Moderna Dansteatern 💚[SV]
Deep Leap bjuder in publiken till ett koreografiskt ljudlandskap där rörelse och ljud smälter samman till en sinnlig, ständigt föränderlig atmosfär. Med kroppsburna mikrofoner och en responsiv teknisk lösning som fångar dansarnas rörelser, modulerar och genererar dansarna ljudbilden i realtid.
Verket utspelar sig i ett gränsland mellan koreografi och ljud, mellan det digitala och det kroppsliga och undersöker hur koreografi kan skapa ljud, i ett landskap i ständig omvandling där gestalter, energier och tillstånd uppstår, upplöses och börjar om.
Deep Leap önskar att ge en hypnotisk och somatisk upplevelse där lyssnandet blir fysiskt och perceptionen varsamt rubbas. Ett gemensamt rum för närvaro, resonans och fantasi som navigerar vår teknologiska samtid utan att tappa det mänskliga, kroppsliga och själsliga.

Deep Leap invites the audience into a choreographic soundscape where movement and sound merge into a sensual, constantly shifting atmosphere. With body-worn microphones and a responsive technical system that captures the dancers’ movements, the dancers modulate and generate the soundscape in real time.
The work unfolds in a borderland between choreography and sound, between the digital and the bodily, and explores how choreography can create sound within a landscape in continuous transformation, where figures, energies and states appear, dissolve and begin again.
Deep Leap seeks to offer a hypnotic and somatic experience where listening becomes physical and perception is gently unsettled. A shared space for presence, resonance and imagination that navigates our technological present without losing the human, the bodily or the soulful.
