Lippan Art Workshop

Come to the historic Chase Home Museum in Liberty Park and learn about the traditional Indian art form Lippan art. Native to the state of Gujarat in Northern India, Lppan art is a traditional Indian mural artwork done using mud and mirror. It is . It is done using materials locally available in the region like mixture of clay and camel dung. Usually created by women to decorate the interior and exterior of their houses this mud work has gathered attention and appreciation over the years and it is now quite common in urban households as well.

This workshop is for ages 12 and above. Free of charge and all materials provided.
