Delve deeper into the process of Linocut with local printmaker and art educator Molly Kempson of Spotty Boy Press. In this 4-hour workshop, we will be exploring linocut printmaking techniques including multi-block (multi-color!) printing and registration (getting our images all lined up!). Participants should have basic block printing knowledge either from Molly's beginner linocut workshop (we are hosting one on Sept 8th) or elsewhere. Blocks, paper, and carving tools are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own carving tools. Participants will get further details about prepping designs for this class a few weeks before it takes place.
