Lino Printing onto Fabrics with Lizi Beevor (SILVA Prints)

Join Lizi Beevor, local Artist & Printmaker, for a creative afternoon of lino printing in this workshop. Suitable for complete beginners, Lizi will walk you through how to create your very own unique, bold and stylised artwork with this popular technique. You will then print your design on to fabric patches and you can bring your own fabrics/clothing to print on to.

You will learn:

• how to create a design that gets the most out of the lino print technique
• how to transfer your design to lino
• how to safely carve your lino
• how to print your final design working with high quality fabric inks, and using a small printing press

NOTE: As we will be using slow-drying inks, do bring suitable clothing in case of stains. Also be aware that the prints will not dry within the session, but will be available to collect from Pipica once dry.
