Lino Printing - Next Steps

Come along and take the next step in your printmaking journey! You will continue using easy-carve material to carve a new block and build on the lino printing process from design through to finished prints. This workshop focuses on developing your design with more detail and movement, carving cleaner lines, and printing more consistently for stronger results. You will also learn how to properly edition your prints.
Along the way, Karen will share how she refined her own printmaking style. As she shares a variety of her prints, you will learn how different printmaking papers can be chosen for different purposes and effects.
All participants leave with a framed print along with those you have made during the workshop. The carved block is also yours to take home and use to continue exploring this exciting creative medium.
This workshop is recommended for participants who have completed the Lino Printing for Beginners workshop (or have some prior printmaking experience). All tools and materials you will need for this workshop are provided.
