Lino Printed Christmas Cards

Lino Printing: Everyone will get the opportunity to design and print a lino print of their own. This is perfect for creating your own cards or for making a printed design to frame. We'll have plenty of paper and blank cards to work with so everyone will leave with something great! All abilities welcome from complete first timers to old pros. This is a friendly and relaxed class so when I say complete beginners welcome, I mean it.

What to Bring: Please bring with you a few ideas of what you may like to make - saved images on your phone are fine or if you're printing, please print them at A6 (a quarter of an A4 piece of paper). If you have no idea of what you'd like to design then don't worry! We can come up with something on the night.

Your Workshop Teacher: Your teacher is Amy Brown; founder of Cult Milk and former illustrator. Her style of teaching focusses on the enjoyment of the process and the therapeutic rewards of getting creative rather than purely on the outcome. She hopes everyone will feel relaxed enough to have a good time and unwind whilst learning something new. Her favourite part is when people leave the workshop realising that they're actually much better at making things than they thought they would be and in the process have made a few new friends!

The Venue & Facilities: The Signalman is a brilliant Brighton pub just across the street from London Road Station. It's cosy and welcoming and usually has a nice log fire on the go. This is a dog friendly venue with a great bar and kitchen to order from throughout the evening.

Refund Policy: There is a no refund policy but if you're feeling unwell, life is getting in the way or your dog was sick on your cat, it's ok, we can transfer your ticket over to another event to help ease the load. Try to let Amy know as soon as you can so to free up any new spaces for other people.
