Lino Block Printing Workshop with FalkenCraft

Join local queer artist, Summer Falkenrath (they/them), and learn the radically cool art of block printing! This 4 hour workshop will include practice materials, techiniques on carving, education of how to best store the carving tools, a demonstration on how to print with ink, and (the best part) hands on learning as you carve your very own block and print with it!

There are 4 ticket types to this workshop with only 10 total spots available (unless demand has us increase space).

Masks will be required during the event. Snacks will be provided.

ALL TICKETS INCLUDE:

• Hands on instruction, practice and printing paper, practice carving erasers, a linoleum block you will be able to take with you at the end of the event, inks, rollers, and brayers to borrow during the event.

ACCESS TICKET $20:

• Includes everything in the "all tickets" paragraph along with a set of carving tools to BORROW during the event.

BYO TOOLS TICKETS $26:

• This ticket is perfect if you ALREADY own your own carving set of tools to bring to the class to use and learn more about. All other items in the "all tickets" is included but feel free to bring your own inks/rollers/ brayers/ etc if you'd like.

BORROW TOOLS TICKETS $29:

• This ticket is ideal if you'd like to TRY block printing but don't want to invest in a tool set yourself yet. Everything in the "all tickets" paragraph will be included along with a set of carving tools to BORROW during the event.

INCLUSIVE TOOLS TICKETS $32:

• If you're all in on starting a new art hobby, this ticket is the obvious choice. Not only will you have access to all of the "all ticket" supplies, you will also get to take home a new set of carving tools so you can continue to make more fun block printed art at home!

Additional add ons optional day of event! If you fall in love with the class and want to add on a tool set or some lino blocks, they will be available to purchase day of! Prices TBD but if you buy a "borrow tools" ticket and want to buy a carving set, it will just be the $3 difference between the ticket prices to take the set home.
