Feel good and boost your wellbeing this summer with our series of taster sessions for Links with Nature's Wellbeing Programme.
About this Event

Join us for some mindfulness in nature, set against the beautiful background of Elemore Park!

Led by Liz from The Little Company of Calm, we will be taking a gentle walk around the park where we will focus on taking in the senses and re-connecting with nature. Join us as we practice mindfulness and try Qigong - a meditation with gentle movement combing the mind, body and breath.

Liz will take into account each individual's mobility limitations and ensure the activity is accessible for all. No prior experience with mindfulness or Qigong is required.

Location

For this session we will meet outside Easington Lane Community Access Point (ELCAP), Brick Garth, Easington Ln, Houghton le Spring, DH5 0LE. W3W: ///roof.spends.unafraid. We will then walk as a group to/from Elemore Park (approx. 9 minute walk). If you have concerns about the walk to/from the park, please contact Mary-Anne prior to booking.

Getting there by car

Plenty of on-street parking is available on Brick Garth, directly outside of the ELCAP building.

Getting there by bus

There are several bus stops close to ELCAP, with the nearest being Easington Lane High Street (Stop ID: twrgjpdm). This stop has services 32, 61, 168, ED2, S454 and X1 Xlines.
