Portée par une soul brésilienne moderne nourrie de pop, samba, jazz et musiques afro-latines, Liniker est une chanteuse et autrice-compositrice née à Araraquara et révélée en 2015 avec son EP Cru. Avec les albums Remonta (2016) et Goela Abaixo (2019) — nommé aux Latin Grammy Awards — elle s’impose rapidement au sein de la nouvelle scène brésilienne et tourne intensément au Brésil comme à l’international.
En 2021, elle inaugure sa carrière solo avec Indigo Borboleta Anil, collaborant notamment avec Milton Nascimento, Tássia Reis ou Tulipa Ruiz. Le disque remporte le Latin Grammy du Meilleur album de musique populaire en langue portugaise, faisant de Liniker la première artiste trans à recevoir cette distinction. Parallèlement, elle se fait remarquer en tant qu’actrice dans la série Manhãs de Setembro.
Habituée des scènes majeures — Glastonbury Festival, Roskilde Festival, Rock in Rio — Liniker poursuit son ascension. Liniker is een zangeres en songwriter uit Araraquara die zich laat inspireren door moderne Braziliaanse soul, pop, samba, jazz en Afro-Latijnse muziek. Ze brak in 2015 door met haar EP ‘Cru’. A prominent young artist signed to the 777 Music Group label, Mari Froes returns to Europe for a new tour that promises to be another success with audiences and critics alike. Between October and December, the artist will perform in seven countries, visiting more than 30 cities in 14 countries: Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands, Romania, Denmark, Ireland, Norway, and Switzerland. On the international tour, Mari will present a repertoire of songs from her new album and songs from previous projects. The artist says she is very excited. ‘It will be the third time we go to Europe and it's always a different emotion. This time we're going to new places, it will be a discovery. The singer brings compositions that carry a unique identity that ranges from MPB, bossa nova, samba and jazz with sensitivity and charm. Froes began her journey in music by sharing versions of her favourite songs on her YouTube channel, which has over 100 million views. In July 2024, the singer was invited by the COLORS studio to record the famous Brazilian song “Gabriela”. In the same year, Mari made a video singing an excerpt from the song “Figa de Guiné”, by Nei Lopes and Reginaldo Bessa, which went viral on TikTok, surpassing 72 million views. Due to its enormous success, the song was released as a single on 11 April, distributed by Sony Germany. “Vaitimbora”, Mari Froes' collaboration with French electronic duo Trinix, went viral, surpassing 1 million views on YouTube and 67 million plays on Spotify.
