Come join us for a special film screening at the St Andrew and St. Luke Outreach Center of the 2023 film, Lines of Demarcation! Through research and interviews led by Beacon students and community members, the film explores the personal histories of black residents whose lives were shaped by powerful social and economic forces of the 20th century, from the Great Migration, and the ebb and flow of an industrial economy, to racism, urban renewal, and the power of local community to buffer the effects of major societal upheavals.
