Tommy Allen and Linear Restaurant invites you to step out for an evening of community, connection, and music.On Friday, March 27, from 7–10 PM, join Tommy Allen—social practice artist, soundscape DJ, and community storyteller—as he returns to the turntables for a three-hour, all-vinyl set.
Designed to bring people together through rhythm, memory, and the warmth of analog, Tommy’s music selections transforms dinner into a shared experience of food, culture, and with always a healthy dose of belonging.

Well, expect an eclectic journey through genres and eras—music that flows like conversation, weaving joy, belonging, and the spirit of community.

Programming begins at 7 PM, but no worries if you can’t make it right on time—Tommy releases his playlist after each appearance so you can carry the experience with you long after the house lights come up.
This night also marks Tommy’s 19th set at Linear, a series that began the evening after a massive tornado swept through his Creston neighborhood in August 2023.
Since this debut, Tommy’s appearances have become an ongoing tradition of gathering, listening, and celebrating the rhythms that unite us. We’ve even seen a lot of table hopping, which is always a good sign according to Tommy.
