Lineage | A Solo Exhibition by Kelcie McQuaid

• “Thicker Than Water” Portrait Drawings
  Discover large-scale portraits of the artist, their mother, and father, housed in handmade acrylic Petri dishes containing bacteria and chemicals. These living portraits evolve during the exhibition, reflecting the dynamic nature of identity and family relationships.
• “Chemical Reaction” Abstract Art + Soundscapes
  Immerse yourself in twelve circular fiber and mixed media paintings inspired by soundscapes created with local musicians. These pieces visually and emotionally translate the theme of familial acceptance into vibrant, layered artworks.
