Celebrating it's 12th Anniversary of making Cookeville a major stop on its cross-country mission, RUN FOR THE WALL returns. Monday, May 18th, 4:30 p.m. CT
Join us in lining the streets along Jefferson Avenue as more than 300 RFTW riders arrive to Cookeville from Interstate 40 enroute to the Putnam County Convention Center (2121 Event Center Drive) for a private dinner and meeting. Cookeville has the privilege to serve as the only overnight host (2 nights) in Tennessee for this motorcycle event with riders gathering in Los Angeles and riding cross-country on a 10-day mission to Arlington National Cemetery.
Riders are “riding for those who can’t.” Many are veterans riding in honor of those MIA or KIA, or are riding as therapy for PTSD. Many are Vietnam veterans who never received a proper "Welcome Home." The Cookeville-Putnam County Visitors' Bureau invites you to line the streets with smiling faces and waving American flags to provide them with the "Welcome" they deserve.
