We love Swing City Tuesdays! Fun and friendly Lindy Hop classes and swing dance socials in Brighton.7.30-8.20pm - Lindy Hop Next Steps class
A drop-in class for anyone who has taken our beginner course or has done beginner classes or a workshop elsewhere. If you've covered six-count and eight-count footwork patterns, the Lindy circle and the swing out, then this class is for you. Also ideal for anyone returning to swing dancing after a break or those who have started learning the opposite role. The class content will change each week. We'll review all the key moves and focus on putting sequences together while gradually expanding our repertoire and honing our technique. We're aiming for these classes to be fun and confidence-building for the social dance floor! No need to come with a partner (though it's great to bring one!). Cash or card payment on the door.
8.20-10.30pm - Swing dance social
We play fabulous tunes suitable for swing dancers of all persuasions and abilities. Everyone welcome - bring your friends too! The venue is spacious and there's a cheap bar.

Heading up Lewes Road from the Level, continue past the Park Crescent turning on your left. The club entrance is by the bus stop just before the next corner on the left with Trinity Street. We’ll put our poster on the door.
Ring the bell to be let in!
If you come by car, you might find spaces along the north and east sides of the Level.
The Next Steps class and social take place in the main hall on the ground floor.

Class: £7 or £5 student/unwaged
Social only: £4/£3 student/unwaged
Class + social: £10 or £7 student/unwaged
Card and cash accepted.
We contribute £1 to our venue for every person who attends our social.
