Join us to learn Lindy Hop, a vibrant historical Black dance that developed in Harlem during the 1920s and 30s. In these classes, you’ll discover how to connect with the music of the era and learn the art of partnered dance connection and touch. (Don’t worry, fellow Midwesterners – we’ll ease you into it!)Throughout the course, you’ll master one of the the two foundational steps of Lindy Hop: the 8-count basics. We’ll explore authentic dance moves and styles created by the original dancers who developed this incredible art form. By the end of the month, you’ll have all the tools you need to confidently social dance Lindy Hop!
