From 7-8pm, July 18, come learn the basics of Lindy Hop & Charleston at The RiNo Ballroom, The Source Market Hall #2. These Black vernacular dances were the rage back in the 1920s-1940s and form the basis of vibrant swing music dance community here in Denver and beyond.During your class with internationally known instructors you'll learn how to confidently kick step, turn and throw a flashy move or three all to foot-pounding, celebratory swing music.
This event is part of The Source Hotel's Wellness series as we welcome you into a community space where you learn to express yourself and improvise alongside a dance partner. Partner dancing not only promotes mindfulness but also helps release feel-good endorphins as you move and groove.
Afterward, we'll head up to The Woods to enjoy craft libations, 360° views and great company.
Ticket prices include 1 post-class glass of beer or wine at The Woods.
