🕺 Lindy at The Lawns – Workshops & Social Dance

Join us for an afternoon and evening of fantastic Lindy Hop, great music and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!
💃 Workshops (3:00pm – 6:00pm)
Our workshops are split into three progressive 45-minute sessions, with plenty of practice time between each one, so you can relax, dance and build your confidence.
3:00pm – Beginner Fundamentals
Perfect if you’re new to Lindy Hop or would like to strengthen your foundations.
4:00pm – Building on the Basics
Develop the moves you’ve learned and become a more confident social dancer.
5:15pm – Intermediate Session
Designed for dancers who are comfortable with the basics and are ready for new ideas and more challenging material.
🎶 Social Dance (6:00pm – 8:30pm)
Whether you’ve attended the workshops or just want to come for an evening of dancing, everyone is welcome.
Expect a carefully chosen mix of swing music spanning the decades—from timeless 1940s classics to modern favourites that always fill the dance floor. There’ll be something to suit every taste and keep you dancing all evening.
With a large sprung dance floor, an excellent sound system, a licensed bar and our much-loved complimentary homemade cakes, everything is in place for a fantastic Sunday evening in the company of friendly dancers.
🎟 Admission
£10 on the door if you click “Going” on this Facebook event by 3:00pm on Saturday.
Otherwise, admission is £12.
