John and Brian Lindula play Folk and Bluegrass music as the duo: Lindula Brothers. Hailing from Cherry, MN, in Taconite Country, the brothers come from a long line of Finnish Americans. Both graduated college from the University of Minnesota Duluth with degrees in education.John has written original songs in addition to the traditional Bluegrass and Folk that the band plays. Their musical selection include Finnish Traditionals and covers of Finnish-American artists like Bobby Aro and Steve Solkela. They also cover songs from Old Crow Medicine Show, Trampled by Turtles, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Woody Guthrie etc.
