Linda Houston Jones Public Art Sculpture Dedication

The City of Pompano Beach is dedicating the Public Art Sculpture entitled Le Corsaire" after the late Linda Houston Jones, former Public Art Committee member, founder of Ashanti Cultural Arts and Enrichment, passionate advocate for the performing arts, dedicated community leader, and tireless contributor to cultural and public art initiatives throughout Broward County.

The bronze sculpture "Le Corsaire" is by Linda Serrao was originally installed in 2021 and represents a dancer in flight.

The dedication will take place in front of the sculpture that is located at the Ali Cultural Center south courtyard entrance. The dedication will take place at 3 pm.
