Personal cars or pets not allowed on the auction lot. Please bring a battery pack jump charger to start your vehicle after purchase for safety and congestion reasons. Unless you are a towing company or are towing a trailer, please leave your car outside the gate to work on your purchase. Thank you.

Check back for changes as the auction day approaches. Payment must be made for the LPD vehicles by 12 noon auction date. Vehicles may be left on the lot until 5:00 PM Sat. or outside the gate until 5:00 PM following Monday. Open to the public.
Locksmiths have been attending the LPD auction to make keys! ALWAYS check back on the Friday night before the auction for late changes!

All LPD items subject to prior claim by original owner. Vehicles may be claimed by the owner up until the time the title has been transferred to the City of Lincoln. After that the owner would have to buy the vehicle at the auction – Cash only.
LPD AUCTION TERMS: CASH, LOCAL CHECK, or CARD (2.5% SURCHARGE ON CARD PURCHASES) auction date. NOTICE: Buyers purchasing a vehicle they currently own will be required to pay CASH, NO CHECKS. All items sell “AS IS” with no guarantees implied or expressed. The vehicle will be titled according to the way the buyer is registered at the auction. Any vehicles with a salvage title will be disclosed before selling. Mileage shown on the title for vehicles 10 years of age or newer will state NOT ACTUAL. Vehicles older than 10 years will show EXEMPT for mileage. A 7.25% State & City sales tax applies to all personal property sold unless the buyer has a State of Nebraska resale tax exemption number provided to the auction company. NOTE: Sales tax on vehicles is paid to county DMV at time of licensing.
