On this day we are gathering to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the last graduating class of Lincoln High School, and to celebrate Lincoln High School alumni as they pass the flame of a tradition of resilience and excellence onto their namesake school at Lincoln Middle School with a sharing of wisdom and a telling of our history.
The Alumni March begins at 10:30, followed by speakers at 11:30 including a telling of the history by Lincoln Alumni, and a Passing of the Legacy Ceremony.
Keynote Speaker: City Commissioner Desmon Walker
You are invited to support the Lincoln High Schools Alumni Association in its efforts to build a Memorial Wall - we are committed to helping them raise the remaining, ~ $25, 000 to build the Memorial Wall. Make your donations here: https://lhsaa.webs.com/ DO let us know in the comments if you make a donation so your example can inspire us, and share with us what this wall means to you.
This is going to be an amazing uplifting event, a celebration of history, of a tradition of excellence, and of hope for the future. We will have inspiring speakers, music, vendors and food trucks.

Your presence at this Living Black History event would be deeply appreciated.

If you are a vendor, a local service provider, a food truck etc., and you would like to table at this event, please message us for more information, or call us at 352-641-0095
