Liminal Bodies Salon Series Death Ritual: The Spirituality of Liminal Spaces via the Princess Bari Myth with Janice Lee, Hosted by No "Noli" Reyes

An evening of storytelling and conversation featuring Janice's personal spiritual journey with connections to the Princess Bari myth, death rituals & death portals, liminal spaces and roles, the Korean concept of han, and expansions of mother/daughter dynamics. There will also be a guided shamanic meditation supported by a flower essence made especially for this event.
Janice Lee is a Korean American writer, teacher, spiritual scholar, shamanic healer, and an aspirant for the Order of Interbeing. She is the author of 8 books and facilitates workshops on inherited trauma and decolonizing language that incorporate meditation, Korean shamanic ritual, and interspecies communication. She is the Operational Creative Director at Corporeal Writing and an Associate Professor of Creative Writing at Portland State University.
No "Noli" Reyes (she/he) is a queer pilipino/mexican american educator, scholar, writer and performance artist, and cofounder of Liminal Bodies, a qt asian movement & writing project based in the PNW. She is currently a student of herbal medicine @wapatoislandfarm and a community leader for the Portland chapter of @trailmixedco.
