Lilly Hiatt Forever Tour (Reserved Seats & SRO)Lilly Hiatt
The last few years have been a little hazy for Lilly Hiatt, who finds herself searching for answers on her striking new album, Forever . Recorded at home with her husband, Coley Hinson who produced and played most of the instruments, Forever grapples with growth and change, escape and anxiety, self-loathing and self-love. The songs are intensely vulnerable, full of diaristic snapshots and deeply personal ruminations, but they’re also broad invitations to find yourself in their unflinching emotional excavations. The result is a raw, unvarnished work of love and trust that walks the line between alt-rock muscle and singer/songwriter sensitivity, a bold, guitar-driven exploration of maturity and adulthood from an artist who wants you to know you’re not alone, no matter how lost you may feel.
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Tennessee, Hiatt first earned buzz with a pair of early solo records before breaking out with 2017’s Trinity Lane , which helped earn dates with the likes of John Prine, Margo Price, Drive-By Truckers, and Hiss Golden Messenger in addition to festival slots from Pilgrimage to Luck Reunion. NPR called the album “courageous and affecting,” while Rolling Stone hailed it as “the most cohesive and declarative statement of the young songwriter’s career.” Hiatt returned in 2020 with the similarly well-received Walking Proof, and in 2021 with Lately, which The Boston Herald said showcased her “knack for plainspoken, poetic lyrics” and Uncut proclaimed “captivating.”
Suzie Chism
Suzanne “Suzie” Elizabeth Chism is a popular American recording artist/actress known for her craftswomanship in songwriting, musicality+production, and fashion. After studying vocal performance at the University of Nevada Reno, Suzie moved to Nashville in 2010 to be nearer to brief collaborator and 90’s hitmaker Edwin McCain. Although this duet-style project was short-lived, it put Suzie in the right-place-at-the-right-time to become the punchline to a real-life “a blonde, a brunette, and a redhead walk into a bar” scenario when Moseley, her three piece all-female rock band, was established in 2013. During her time in Moseley, who recorded their never-released debut album with production giant Jay Joyce, Suzie became the live guitarist for Canadian pop star FeFe Dobson, touring internationally with the American rap sensation, Yelawolf. After the disbanding of Moseley (and a quick phase recording and performing under the moniker SUP, or Suzie Under Pressure,) Chism relocated to Los Angeles in 2018 where she spent two years studying sound engineering and fashion in preparation for her solo debut, the full-length DIY home recordings titled Where, recorded and performed almost entirely on her own and featuring additional mixing/engineering by Zack Pancoast (Kacey Musgraves, Karen Elson), Eddie Spear (‘A Star Is Born’, Sierra Ferrell ‘Trail of Flowers’, Brandi Carlile), and Paul Cossette (Sturgill Simpson, The Head & The Heart, FIDLAR). Now back in Tennessee, Suzie has released her second “closet” full-length record 'Pobrecita' with nine genre-jumping tracks that, although again are mostly recorded and performed by Chism at home during the pandemic and mixed by Zack Pancoast, feature guest players Fred Eltringham (Sheryl Crow, Kurt Vile), Timothy Deaux (Kings Of Leon, Grace Potter), and Jesse Stern (Gloria Gaynor, George Clinton). Recorded in both LA and Nashville at Suz Suz Studios, ’POBRECITA’ is available everywhere now and has been compared to everyone from Joni Mitchell to Iggy Pop.
In 2024 Suzie released singles “Til The Wheels Fall Off” and “My Bar” from her first studio record (forthcoming), featuring musicianship by Nate Mahan (Shannon & The Clams) and Bill Patton (Father John Misty), as well as engineering by Paul Cossette (Lady A, Sturgill Simpson) and Gregory Lattimer (Aaron Lee Tasjan.) This country-adjacent collection of songs is her best yet, charting on Ohio radio in the top 30 for three consecutive months and counting; her edgy perspective creates a unique take on Americana that only Chism can do. Her new single ‘Call Me (The Hotline Bling Song)” will be available 2/28/25 and celebrated with a tour supporting Lilly Hiatt this Spring.
Suzie has also been selected as the face of Hotel Indigo in their global campaign, “The Neighborhood” and can be seen in theaters and on television daily.
