Lil' Sprouts - Fall 2024

Lil’ Sprouts is a hands-on, early childhood education program for pre-school aged children. During the Lil’ Sprouts sessions, children and their accompanying grown-ups have the opportunity to spend time in the garden, try new foods, and learn about the natural world around them. The program is filled with investigation, discovery, exploration, and most importantly fun! Each activity is thoughtfully chosen and facilitated to guide and encourage the cognitive and emotional development that young children are continuously experiencing.

Fall 2024 Session Timings:

• Ages 2-3: Fridays 9am-10am
• Ages 4-5: Fridays 10:30am-11:30am

***Please note, tickets need to be purchased for each session separately. Each $45 session includes three seperate dates to attend.

Drop-ins are welcome but we highly encourage buying a ticket ahead of time so that we may be adequately prepared for the number of Lil Sprouts attending.

Session 1

September 20- Planting Party: Farming is hard work and we could use all the hands we can get!

September 27- Caring Critters: Let’s learn about the different critters that care for our farm!

October 4- Leaf it to Me: Lettuce discover the glorious garden greens as the leaves on the trees change.

Session 2

October 11- The 5 senses: Let’s get in touch with our five senses: what do we feel, smell, taste, hear, and see on the farm?

October 18- The Chicken and The Egg: Meet our feathered friends, and learn about who lays our lovely eggs!

October 25- Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere! It’s fall at the farm, and that means pumpkin everything.

Session 3

November 1- Dia de Los Muertos: Come learn about Dia de los Muertos and celebrate life!

November 8- Cows and Calcium: Join us and Gurdy as we explore the different sources of calcium on the farm!

November 15- Find Peace on the Farm: Let’s get in touch with our feelings through mindfulness activities!

Session 4

November 22- Farm Friendsgiving! Join us as we give thanks to our FARMily and the food we harvest.

December 6- Music and Movement: Come move and groove with us on the farm!

December 13- Farm-to-Table Cooking Class: Come make a delicious treat from the veggies we eat!

Refund requests will be honored up to 7 days prior to session start date. No refunds thereafter.
